Courtesy of this weekend's editorial meeting, we're wondering if this sounds interesting.

Sounds interesting, but I don't feel that I have adequate information to make an educated decision. I also don't think its fair that because you posted it I automatically assume its gonna be freaking awesome!!! I vote yes, but I'm dreadfully curious and want more info.

Well, I guess I should clarify, first, that what's on the table is another erotic suspense serial, sort of a spy vs. spy thing. I suppose this would have been better asked after book seven when, as you said, you have more information about what the Paramour Project actually is. Right now I'm more concerned with whether everyone's getting sick of serials (like TV episodes with season-long arc) or whether this should be done as a series (related, longer stories with one main protag but a self-contained arc each book) or a standalone (one main character, one arc, that's is, story's over at THE END). I'm going to withhold my opinion on this. All feedback welcome; it's all taken into consideration while future projects roll through development.

I prefer longer stories. Although, clearly I'll read shorter episodes as long as the writing's good like the Fantasy Heights series. When I find an author I enjoy reading, I devour everything they write. I love the whole spy vs. spy concept. It sounds good & I'm eager to hear more.

I really don't mind shorter books. As long as they hold my interest and keeps me guessing

Confession time! Fantasy heights is the first serial/short story type set of books that has ever kept my interest. I often find myself frustrated at the end of each book, only because I read it in less than 24 hours and have to wait for the next chunk of story. That being said, I find stand-alones to be a big fat can't-hold-my-interest yawn fest. I am a big series kinda girl. I love them in all shapes, sizes, and genres. I think it would be phenomenal if you could tackle that, simply because I wouldn't be so freaking frustrated at the end of each story. Lol.

You could go a hundred different ways with the the Paramour Project. Personally I think you could make it a combination of single story arcs and a few (or just one) larger arc. You can even have offshoot stories that can stand alone within the series. You can jump from perspectives between the books. Yeah okay, so I'm probably not helping much but what I'm getting at is that I think you are capable of doing anything really well. You've got imagination in spades and the writing talent to capture an audience.

I feel the same as Spring23 and when I found Fantasy Heights I not only bought and read all 5 books in 2 days but I also told 3 friends and my sister about the series and told them to get reading. I think if you have an idea for a new book/series no matter how you write it we will be reading it. I am looking forward to 7-9 and beyond.

Meg, I'm so excited for book "7" I can't get enough of THOMAS !!!!! however when do you think book 7 might be done? Also the Paramour Project sounds great but would it include our three main characters from Fantasy Heights Amanda, Thomas and Josh?

Yes, the FH mains would definitely be part of Paramour Project. Keep 'em coming, please. I'm still eyebrow-deep in FH for the foreseeable future, so there's still plenty of time to weigh in.

Yea! Only 6 more weeks for the next one... I was afraid it's be months. I'm ridiculously excited to read what happens next.
I love the whole paramour idea especially if the FH characters go on.

I love the idea, seems that you can go in a number of directions with this series... I really love the idea that we will see the side of Thomas that is missing when he is away from FH. When you say that the Paramour Project would be spy vs. spy, do you mean within the parameters of FH or would this be an 'off site' book? I think using FH as an underground site to get intel through pillow talk a GREAT idea Talk about using your assets... Can't wait for book 7!! I love me some Josh, nothin like a man who craves to make your fantasies reality... even the unvoiced ones...

I have to admit my love of a series of longer complete books. Mainly because I read them voraciously and have an addiction (should probably see someone about that!) I keep reading FH as I love them, but I want more more more!!!! That is not being pushy, just in love I often choose books by author and read all of their catalogue as I fall in love with the writing, style etc. And for that reason I will read Paramour however you put them out
