Promotion always seems to be a hot button on forums, so here's our policy:
NO PROMO ANYWHERE except The Zoo. In that forum, readers and visiting authors can discuss any genre, author, book, etc. and include external links. One promotional post per week per visitor.
Signatures: Max 4 lines, may include links to other author sites and may include images. Members may be asked to modify huge or annoying images a/o signatures, judged on a case-by-case basis.
Please note this policy is not about pretending competition does not exist. This policy is about limiting spam, trolls or other disruptions for our guests.
The policy quite clear, quite fair and not up for debate. It is subject to change. The policy will be enforced without warning OR prejudice upon first violation. Penalty for violation is the ban hammer (perma IP ban).
