I agree, the colors are great, the fire tattoo is nice. The only problem I have is that with the reflection of the flower behind the tattoo on the bottom it all seems kinda busy. It kinda sucks that the 6 covers up half the design, but what can you do? Lol! The uniformity with the other new covers is nice.

I agree about the colors and the fire tattoo thingy, like seanna, but is there a way that you can kind of make the silhouette of the woman a bit more pronounce? She kind of disappears at the part where she overlaps the fire thingy.

Lol I'm probably gonna be on Joy's shit list for this, but I'm finding that I don't like the numbering of the books. The big black oval just takes away from the rest of the design. I liked how the last books were numbered. And if the numbers might be lost due to colour schemes and design I would recommend the you rather just change the colour of the numbers. But that's me and my annoying two cents worth  Also. In all the other covers the woman is the strong focal point. Here, not so much. The Fire tattoos seem to be detracting form from the female figure because they are of a similar size and dark & flat in colour. Hope this is more help than hinderance.  |

I agree with the oval with 6 in it..but please keep the numbers on the book..I read a lot of series and this is one of the fee I don't have to backtrack on which book is next

Hehehe! Joy is totally on to something there. The numbers do look somewhat less obtrusive in thumbnail size. Also the covers look stunning when one sees them side by side. LOVE EM! Btw I had a wee lil thought regarding the new cover... What if you lost the big pink pattern in the back and made the flame tattoos into a continuous pattern in the background like with book 3 & 4 covers . (smaller and with the pink to orange gradient with a little bevel/emboss). Then one bigger flame tattoo as more of an outline design running behind the female figure as with the flow-like design on cover four. Might give Joy something to play with and some fresh perspective.  |

LOL I think you and Joy have been sharing the brain cell; She's working on building the patterned background, but still looking for a "burn through" element. Looking at all the covers together, we've decided we don't love how flat book 3 looks in comparison, so that one will have a sparkly-shiny add somewhere, too. And now I must away to the grindstone once more, lest Emma catch me here and yell some more about the deadline I just missed. |

I love the tattoo/flame effect - the number bugged me until I saw the thumbnail. Now it doesn't really bug me.
Is there an educated guess on when we can expect Into Her Fire?

I've got a ways to go on some continuity issues, but the bulk is in pretty good shape. If we stay on track, we should beat Labor Day. But not by much. |
