I wanted to ask my fellow erotica/romance readers if they have the same problem I do. I haven't been posting a lot of reviews recently because I have been repeatedly frustrated with the story lines and characters in the books I've been reading. Why are all the women prudes??? Whybis every one of them "strong" because they are independent and wont be submissive at the start of the story? I have been reading Shayla Black's wicked lover's series and I only really liked the first 3. 4 and 5 are downright insulting to any woman with a submissive bone in her body. Sure they are submissive to their dominant partner by the end, but at that point I want to smack the whiney bitch across her nasty mouth and steal her man! I deserve him more then she does! Lol. I joke, but I am not sure that I appreciate what a lot of these books consider a "strong" woman. I am very submissive in my relationship with my husband... in all ways. I choose to let my husband take care of me, love me, and run my household. In return I give him my everything. I think I'm a very strong woman, mother, wife and lover.
That being said I want to tell Meg that I appreciate her creating a female character that isn't afraid of her sexuality, she is open to anything and everything and reminds me that I'm not a weak person simply because I'm submissive to my husband... and only to my husband. I'm a real handfull for the rest of the world and have no problem letting my feelings be known on any subject, Lol. So I want to thank you Meg for letting me feel powerful through your characters and writing style, apparently there are a lot of people who don't think my lifestyle is acceptable for a "strong" woman. I sure feel strong when the kids go to bed... if you know what I mean![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
